Recently, Zhejiang's Department of Culture and Tourism released 12 themed travel corridors under the campaign "Poetic Jiangnan, Vibrant Zhejiang." Each corridor offers its unique charm, including themes like “Elegant Song Dynasty Charm, Memories of Qiantang,” “Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains, Between Three Rivers,” and “Through a Millennium, Harbour Dreams.” Among them, Ningbo’s “Through a Millennium, Harbour Dreams” themed travel corridor was selected.

This route connects the historical and cultural heritage of the Shanglin Lake Celadon Cultural Park and the Hemudu Cultural Site with modern immersive tourism experiences such as the Ningbo Fantawild Tourist Resort, as well as the natural beauty of the Dongqian Lake National Tourist Resort.
Following this route, residents and visitors can embark on a journey through the ancient Maritime Silk Road. Not long ago, during the founding activities of the Silk Road Tourism Cities Alliance, Ningbo participated as a founding member city. This newly launched "Through a Millennium, Harbour Dreams" themed travel corridor further links the past and present of Ningbo, the ancient eastern departure port of the Maritime Silk Road.

It’s also been noted that joint branding is currently a hot trend. Among the 12 travel corridors, several "co-branded" routes span across multiple cities. For example, the Yongtai “No.1 Coastal Highway – Golden Coast” corridor features attractions such as Xiangshan’s Songlanshan Coastal Tourist Resort, Xiangshan Film and Television City, Ninghai’s Xu Xiake Ancient Trail, Qiantong Ancient Town, and Shepan Island in Taizhou.
