Eleven Ningbo-based foreign trade enterprises showcased nearly 100 export-quality products today, as the city's first dedicated "Export-Quality Goods Ningbo Selection Store" opened its doors at YinTai Department Store's Tianyi branch.
This pop-up store, running until October 8th, is part of the "Export-Quality Goods China Tour - Ningbo Stop" series. It aims to help foreign trade companies expand their domestic sales channels while leveraging their supply strengths to offer consumers more high-quality and diverse choices.

Shoppers will find a collection primarily featuring small household appliances and outdoor gear. Products include the Thimax high-speed blender, Wellcome ice maker, Biyi air fryer, Hubo coffee grinder, and Chukying luggage. All items are supplied directly from integrated manufacturing-and-trading companies, ensuring "factory-direct sourcing" and "export-grade quality."

"Expanding into the domestic market has become a key pivot for many foreign trade companies this year," said a representative from the Ningbo Municipal Commerce Bureau. "While Ningbo previously promoted export-quality goods through fairs or exhibitions, the opening of this Selection Store marks our first attempt at using a fixed storefront to help companies develop new local business."
To accelerate product adoption, the Selection Store not only features carefully curated goods but also offers prices significantly below the companies' standard retail rates – some up to 20% lower. Shoppers can further save by using exclusive summer coupons for an additional discount of up to 20% off.

Shen Hao, Domestic Sales Manager at Ningbo Danyun Daily Necessities Technology Co., Ltd., displayed nearly ten new products under their own brand "Fenxu," all priced under 100 RMB. "Previously, we focused on OEM and export of scented products. Since March, we've ventured into domestic sales, designing fragrances, appearances, and styles from scratch based on Chinese preferences, with new products launching in May," Shen explained. "This is our first local offline promotion. We hope to build brand awareness and gain closer insights into customer needs for product refinement."

Local resident Bao Kai quickly purchased two boxes of Mumazhufeng cold-brew tea after browsing, paying less than 80 RMB after coupons. "Ningbo has so many foreign trade companies and quality export products, yet it was hard to know the specific brands or find purchase channels. This setup is excellent," he said. "I compared online prices, and it's significantly cheaper here."
Based on the pilot pop-up store's results, Ningbo plans to collaborate further with YinTai Department Store to establish permanent counters across its branches in the region. Additionally, an online "Export-Quality Goods Ningbo Pavilion" virtual counter will be launched, enabling nationwide sales of Ningbo products.
