On the morning of May 29, 2025, in the fields of Hemudu Town, Yuyao, tractors were plowing the land in preparation for the upcoming rice planting season.
Hundreds of egrets—including cattle egrets, great egrets, intermediate egrets, and pond herons—followed closely behind the tractors, eagerly feeding on aquatic insects, loaches, eels, frogs, tadpoles, and other creatures unearthed during the plowing.
The entire scene in the fields was vibrant and full of life, reflecting a harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
