Yesterday, Yuyao City held its “717 Rider Festival”, offering a heartfelt show of appreciation for the city’s hardworking delivery riders. The event delivered a variety of caring services to help riders feel the warmth of recognition and support.

The event took place at the “Yong’ai E-Home” Yuyao Riders’ Hub Central Station. In the on-site food area, tables were laden with fruits, cakes, snacks, and more. Riders gathered around, chatting and laughing as they shared food and stories, before taking group photos together. One Meituan rider, Liang Yujie, playfully stuck a Nezha cartoon sticker on his yellow helmet, adding a touch of fun and childlike charm to his gear.

“Every day we hustle, but today feels like coming home,” said rider Liang Yujie. “This festival makes us feel remembered and valued.” Fellow rider Chen Kui added with emotion,“ Yuyao keeps organising caring activities for us. This ongoing warmth truly touches the heart—it gives me even more motivation to keep going on the road.”

The event is part of Yuyao’s broader “Green Shade” Rider Care Initiative, led by the city’s Department of Social Work. Going forward, the initiative will continue offering summer supply stations, health management services, and rights protection resources, ensuring long-term care and support for riders across the city.
